Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Joachim Luserke, Managing Director of the Hamburg real estate company Luserke Vermögensverwaltung GmbH, on the sale of ModeCentrum Hamburg (MCH) to GLO Properties S.ár.l. (GLO), in a deal worth more than EUR 100 million.
The purchase of the property – with nine building parts and approximately 77,500 m² rental space – was completed by the Leipzig asset and investment manager NORKON GmbH, which is exclusively responsible for the purchase and asset management of GLO.
With around 270 sales offices, fashion agencies and branches as well as over 150 guest exhibitors, MCH is one of Germany’s leading fashion centres. The Luserke family will continue to manage and develop the MCH after the sale.
Norton Rose Fulbright provided comprehensive advice across both real estate and corporate aspects. Partner Patrick Narr, who oversees the firm’s Hamburg office, led the deal team with assistance from associates Karsten Alex and Malte Meyer.
