Dr Marco Niehaus, LL.M. (Cambridge), LL.M. Eur. is a corporate/ M&A lawyer and partner based at our Frankfurt office.

He has broad experience in advising at domestic and cross-border M&A transactions (sell side and buy side). He has further specialized on corporate, takeover and securities advice for strategic and institutional investors, in particular listed companies as well as private equity clients. Marco also frequently advises on domestic and cross-border reorganization projects, joint ventures, capital market transactions and compliance issues.

Marco regularly publishes articles on corporate acquisition issues and general corporate law. He is a member of the Corporate Law Association (VGR) and the German-British Lawyers’ Association (DBJV).

Marco studied law at Philipps University Marburg/Lahn, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (LL.M. Eur. and Dr. iur.), University of East Anglia/Norwich (Diploma of Higher Education in Common Law) and at Cambridge University (LL.M.). He is admitted to practice law as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) since 2008 and has been with leading national and international law firms in Frankfurt am Main before joining us in 2016.

Marco speaks German, English and French.
