John Shelton is a Consultant based in London. He has been with the legal practice for 32 years, first from 1981 as an associate and then, between 1987 and 2013, as a partner. He is highly regarded in shipping finance and was previously head of the shipping finance team.

John has acted for shipping companies, banks and other financial institutions in connection with all types of ship lending and leasing, capital raising, sale and purchase of second-hand ships, ship registration, shipbuilding contracts, bareboat chartering, management agreements and related financial arrangements.
