Norton Rose Fulbright advises Lanes & Planes on Series A financing round

Global Press release - Business February 2020

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Munich-based business travel start-up Lanes & Planes on its Series A financing round.

The financing round was led by global technology-focused investment firm Battery Ventures and global early-stage venture firm DN Capital.

Veit Blumschein, CEO at Lanes & Planes, comments:

“The financing round with Battery and DN demonstrates that the market of all-inclusive business travel portals must be viewed as a differentiated one, and that investors are focusing on innovative and future-oriented solutions. The Lanes & Planes investment can be also seen as an investment in strategic software solutions that offer, after two years of development, perfect solutions to the needs of business trip processing.

Sebastian Frech, partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, adds:

“We were delighted to have advised Lanes & Planes since its foundation. The business travel start-up sector has immense growth potential.”

Lanes & Planes was founded by Veit Blumenschein and Daniel Nolte in 2017. It provides Software-as-a-Service for business travelers enabling customers to digitalize their whole travel process.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team advising Lanes & Planes was led by Sebastian Frech and included IP/IT senior associate Nikolas Smirra, corporate associate Sebastian Eisenhut as well as transaction specialist Tobias Grans.
