Norton Rose Fulbright advises Wüllner on sale of the Wüllner Mineralbrunnen Group

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised the Wüllner family business on the sale of the Wüllner Mineralbrunnen Group to the HassiaGroup, a family owned company.

Wüllner Mineral Water Group is a family business founded in 1925 and headquartered in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. Today, the group has approximately 360 employees and includes the Bielefeld Carolinen Brunnen, Gaensefurther Schloss Quelle (Saxony-Anhalt) and Güstrower Schlossquell (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). The group of companies has been among the top 10 family-run mineral water companies in Germany for many years and is the market leader in the region of East Westphalia-Lippe, in Saxony-Anhalt and in the gastronomy of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

The three locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt, including the trademark and distribution rights to Carolinen, Güstrower Schlossquell and Gaensefurther Schloss Quelle, will be transferred to the Bad Vilbel-based Hassia Group. All three operations are to be continued and the brand business expanded. The respective employees will be taken over and all currently existing contracts and agreements will remain valid. At the turn of the year, the current owner family Wüllner will withdraw from the operational management of the Wüllner mineral springs group, but will continue to work in the background in an advisory capacity for the transition phase.
