Stephen Rigby is a corporate lawyer based in London. Stephen focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets deals, restructurings, principal investments and private equity.
Stephen has long experience in working in the energy and infrastructure space, across a wide range of corporate transactions and for a broad client base, ranging from specialist investment funds such as pension funds, hedge funds, infrastructure funds and private equity funds, to growth businesses, to mature quoted companies. He works across the power, utilities, renewable energy, water and transport sectors, with a focus on inward investment into UK and European assets.
Stephen also leads our sports law practice in the UK. He has particular experience in the UK football sector.
Stephen has an MA in Law from Cambridge University (Churchill College) and has an LLM in International Business Law from Manchester University. He joined the London practice in 1991, qualified in 1993 and became a partner in 2001.
