  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch – advising a financier in relation to it's a $150+ million facilities in connection with a borrower's acquisition of various properties previously owned by Bunnings Warehouse. This transaction also included a "sale and lease-back" from the Bunnings Group.
  • Lendlease Group – representing in the A$935m senior secured debt financing to the consolidated Lendlease Retirement Living Group Portfolio for working capital and funding future acquisitions and developments of retirement living assets. This involves ongoing work in connection with the negotiating the builder side deeds and financier side deeds (where applicable) in connection with the development documentation associated with accessing development funding under this facility from time to time.
  • Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, ING Bank (Australia) Limited and Bank of China Limited, Sydney Branch – advising a $166+ million property refinancing facility to an Australian borrower backed by a personal guarantee and general security arrangements in connection with commercial assets throughout Australia.
  • Société Générale, acting through its Sydney Branch – advising a $58.5 million property refinancing facility to an Australian borrower in connection with a Queensland property.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch, Bank of China Limited, Sydney Branch, Credit Industriel et Commercial, Singapore Branch and DBS Bank Ltd., Australia Branch – advising a A$590 million property refinancing facility to a Mapletree Investments Australian Fund vehicle in connection with eight commercial property assets throughout Australia.
  • Oversea Chinese Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch – advising a A$174+ million property financing facility to Mapletree Investments Australian Fund vehicle in connection with the acquisition of commercial property assets throughout New South Wales.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch – advising a financier in relation to it's a $96+ million facilities to a borrower in connection with its acquisition of properties located in Victoria for the purpose of acquiring and developing student accommodation facilities.
  • CBA – advising an Australia financier in connection with multiple property acquisition finance facilities to the EG Funds group. Such transactions have included commercial properties located throughout Australia.
  • Coronado Global Resources Inc – advising in relation to their USD$350 million and A$350 million IPO debt funding facility including documenting the facility and all associated securities, including liaising with subordinated creditors and negotiating intercreditor arrangements.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch – advising a financier in relation to its $100+ million facilities to Shopping Centres Australia in connection with an unsecured revolving multi-tranche facility.
  • Global fund manager – advising AXA Australia in connection with a syndicated loan facility provided by two domestic banks to finance a portfolio of commercial/office property held within a fund managed for the benefit of Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation.
  • Global fund manager – advising AXA Australia in connection with a syndicated loan facility provided by two domestic banks to finance a portfolio of commercial/office property held within a fund managed for the benefit of HESTA.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch – advising a financier in relation to it's a $320+ million facilities to a borrower in connection with its acquisition of various properties previously owned by ALDI. This transaction also included a "sale and lease-back" from ALDI.
  • Daiwa House Australia Pty Ltdadvising a developer in relation to a $300+ million facility from an offshore lender to assist with a residential sub-division and development.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sydney Branch – advising a financier in relation to its $400+ million facilities to Sekisui House and Payce in connection with various residential developments.
