Asian Renewable Energy Hub

Consortia of project developers of the Asian Renewable Energy Hub | Cross border Asia Pacific

Project description

The Asian Renewable Energy Hub which aims to generate up to 26 GW of renewable energy in Western Australia. The bulk of the energy will be used for large scale production of green hydrogen products for domestic and export markets./p>

Scope of work

We have been focused on transitioning this mass scale renewables from supplying via undersea cable to adopting a hydrogen / ammonia delivery model with offshore conveyance (electricity and water) and export infrastructure. We have been supporting the project through all early stages of project development, including securing the significant land tenure required as well as assisting with the traditional land owners. Land tenure on a project of this scale is key with the project footprint currently 6,600-square kilometres.

What makes the project unique

The Asian Renewable Energy Hub is one of the most exciting energy projects in the world, with the potential to address key energy security and emissions reduction challenges facing Australia’s regional neighbours.
