US lawyer named one of Crain’s New York Business ‘Leading Women Lawyers in New York City’

Global People December 21, 2017

Judi Archer (New York) has been named one of Crain's New York Business "Leading Women Lawyers in New York City" for 2017 in their inaugural listing. The list comprises 100 New York-metro lawyers that "are trailblazers who found multiple paths to excellence."

The list includes partners and practice leaders at the city's big law firms, as well as corporate counsel lawyers at Manhattan companies.

Archer concentrates her practice on complex commercial matters, representing clients in business disputes involving breach of contract, financial services, telecommunications, bankruptcy and entertainment.

Outside of the courtroom, Archer serves on the New York City Bar Association's Women in the Legal Profession committee, heads our Women in the Firm committee and serves on our Partnership and Diversity and Inclusion committees.

Crain notes that "In acknowledging the talents of these 100 women, Crain's is merely tapping into New York's rich history of female lawyers who refused to be defined by their gender."
