- Represented a syndicate of commercial bank lenders, including CIBC, Mizuho, MUFG and Société Générale, in connection with the US$6 billion debt financing of the Champlain Hudson Power Express fully buried 339-mile transmission line connecting Canada to New York state, which is expected to generate as much as US$17.3 billion over 30 years for New York homes and businesses through wholesale electricity costs. The 400 kV high-voltage direct current transmission line has been under development for more than a decade in anticipation of New York's transition from fossil fuel to clean energy. It will run beneath Lake Champlain and the Hudson River on the Canadian border and is expected to be operational in 2026. The transaction was named the 2022 "Transmission Deal of the Year" by Project Finance International.
- Represented Eolian L.P., a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners, in the first-of-its-kind tax equity financing of two standalone utility-scale battery storage projects in Mission, Texas.
- Represented the administrative agent, issuing lender, swingline lender and lender in connection with the letter of credit and revolving loan facility, and subsequent upsizing with City National Bank as an additional Lender, for a subsidiary of Clean Capital Holdings LLC which owns a portfolio of approximately 130 commercially operating photovoltaic solar assets.
- Represented the investor in the tax equity financing of a 300 MW solar project in Colorado.
- Represented the investor in the tax equity financing of a 300 MW solar project in Colorado.
- Represented the investor in the tax equity financing of a 690MW solar project and accompanying 1,406 MW integrated battery energy storage system in Nevada.
- Represented the investor in the tax equity financing of a 162 MW wind project in Colorado.
- Represented the sponsor in the acquisition of a US$250 million fuel cell portfolio.
- Represented the buyer in the asset purchase of a portfolio of landfill gas facilities.
- Represented the buyer in the acquisition of a 635 MW natural gas-fired power plant in New York.
- Represented the seller in the sale of a 345 kV transmission line in New York.
