Biography
Edward Low is a disputes lawyer with a focus on international arbitration and maritime work based in Tokyo. He also supports on transactional matters including M&A, banking and finance.
Edward has experience with commercial disputes involving a wide range of industry sectors that include energy, semiconductors, maritime, construction, foods, and sports. He has managed arbitrations conducted under the SIAC, HKIAC, ICC, and CAS arbitration rules, and involving the application of a variety of governing laws, including New York law, Californian law, English law, Chinese law, Hong Kong law and Singapore law.
Before joining the firm, Edward was an assistant to one of Asia's leading arbitrators where he served as tribunal secretary in a number of arbitrations.
Edward read Law at St John's College, Cambridge.
