We advised banks, investors and commercial B lenders on US$265m of loans to Kingston Freeport Terminal LTD (KFTL). With a total project cost of US$452m, KFTL is positioned to become one of the top trans-shipment platforms in the Caribbean. For the 100 MW El Pelícano Solar Project in Chile, we represented Crédit Agricole, Korea Development Bank (KDB), MUFG and SMBC in connection with the US$199.5m financing of El Pelícano, which will supply 42 percent of the electricity needed to power the Metro de Santiago. Todd Alexander (New York) was the lead partner on this deal team with support from Monika Szymanski, Lee Gordon, Matthew Shellenhamer (New York) and Robert Shapiro (Washington, DC).
