Norton Rose Fulbright advises financial institutions on PLN 300 million financing granted to Arctic Paper S.A.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised a consortium of Polish banks composed of Santander Bank Polska S.A., Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. and BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. on a secured corporate financing amounting to a total of PLN 300m (€ 66m) for Arctic Paper S.A and its subsidiaries. 

The transaction involved refinancing of bonds, term and revolving facilities, factoring arrangements and hedging.

The funds will be used for the purpose of refinancing of the existing indebtedness and for general corporate and working capital purposes of the company and its subsidiaries.

Arctic Paper S.A. is one of the leading manufacturers of superior graphic fine paper in Europe. The company offers a wide range of applications, including book production, advertising, office materials and other qualitative printed matter. 

The Warsaw team was led by counsel Marta Kawecka and included associate Karolina Majcher and paralegal Jakub Wiatrzyk. The team worked under the supervision of partner Grzegorz Dyczkowski who heads the Warsaw office and the firm’s Warsaw banking and finance practice.
