Muriel is a dispute resolution lawyer based in Hong Kong.

Her practice cuts across multiple areas of our dispute resolution practice.  Muriel has handled numerous matters involving high-value, highly complex and multi-jurisdictional disputes involving international arbitration, commercial litigation, insolvency and contentious regulatory matters.  These matters have included disputes in the areas of commercial contracts disputes, shareholders, joint ventures, commodity trading, corporate governance, employment, cross-border enforcement of debts and securities, insolvencies, etc. She has also acted for clients on various contentious financial services regulatory, corruption and business ethics, data privacy and other regulatory compliance matters.  Clients with whom Muriel has worked include listed and non-listed multi-national groups, financial institutions, funds, oil majors, government and statutory bodies, as well as ultra-high net worth individuals.  She also has a strong focus in infrastructure and construction matters and is familiar with advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious issues arising from such matters.

Muriel is fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).  She has worked on numerous PRC-related matters, including advising PRC clients on guarantee enforcement and debt recovery actions, reviewing and advising multi-national clients on contracts involving PRC parties, enforcement of PRC arbitration awards, advising on settlement between PRC and foreign companies, asset tracing and investigations in the PRC, and conducting due diligence reviews of PRC entities and HK listed companies with assets in the PRC.
