Norton Rose Fulbright is proud to support the Sutton Trust, Pathways to Law programme

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is proud to support the Sutton Trust in their Pathways to Law national conference, taking place at the University of Warwick, on July 25, 2018. The event will give young adults in year 12 advice from industry experts on how best to achieve their ambitions within the legal profession. The programme was established in 2006 by the Sutton Trust and the Legal Education Foundation. Norton Rose Fulbright is a partner law firm of the initiative.

Pathways to Law is a programme that inspires and supports students to explore a range of careers in law and build the essential knowledge, skills and confidence required for higher education and the world of work. Pathways to Law students are also offered real-life experience, with work placement, and mentoring opportunities. Pathways to Law is one of the charities through which the firm obtains 3-5 participants for their annual PRIME programmes. PRIME is an alliance of law firms and legal departments who are committed to opening access to the legal profession to a wider population.

During the conference each student will be provided with a DiSC behavioural assessment, supplied by Thomas International.

But there are some areas of legal profession that are taking significant steps to redress the balance. It’s great that we can work with some of the biggest legal firms through our Pathways to Law programme. Together we support students to explore a range of careers in law and help them build the essential knowledge, skills and confidence they need to go on to higher education and the world of work.”
