New York partner named co-chair of leading securitization committee

Patrick Dolan (New York) has been named co-chair of the Structured Finance Industry Group’s (SFIG) Alternative and New Products Committee.

The Alternative & New Products Committee discusses legal and regulatory issues related to the securitization of new financial asset types. The committee is part of SFIG, the leading trade organization for the securitization industry.

Chairs are nominated and appointed by other members of SFIG, who typically are professionals from all sectors of the securitization market, including issuers, investors, financial intermediaries, law firms, accounting firms, technology firms, rating agencies, servicers and trustees.

Dolan focuses his practice on asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations, including those involving innovative structures.
