Biography

James McGettrick joined the Washington, DC office in 2016. As of counsel in Norton Rose Fulbright's Washington, DC office, Jim's practice is focused on public finance and tax. He has developed and carried out financings for many public projects, including preparing necessary legislation, creating special tax entities, negotiating all aspects of projects and accompanying plans of finance, and defending projects and financial plans in court. His experience also includes property taxation, other appellate litigation, and negotiating a broad range of contracts and settlements. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
