Three lawyers earn spots on Legal 500's
US-Mexico Private Practice Powerlist

The Legal 500 honored three Norton Rose Fulbright lawyers by naming them to its Private Practice Powerlist: US-Mexico.
Earning spots on the list were: Raquel Bierzwinsky (New York and Mexico City), Todd Alexander (New York) and Rachel Crouch (Washington, DC).
The Legal 500 Private Practice Powerlist: US-Mexico highlights leading US-based counsel active in the Mexican market today. The list was based on canvassing the opinions of law firm partners and in-house counsel; analyzing candidates' career trajectories; identifying practitioners with engagement that goes beyond occasional participation; and considering their role in ensuring the continuity of bi-national business integration developed over the 25 years of NAFTA.
The Legal 500 noted that Bierzwinsky advises clients in the areas of project development and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and international finance, with a particular emphasis in Latin America and Mexico. Her recent work includes advising a subsidiary of French renewable energy developer Neoen on securing the financing for the 379 MWp El Llano solar farm in Aguascalientes, Mexico, which will be Neoen's first in Mexico and largest photovoltaic plant. Her recent work also includes assisting an international developer in structuring and developing a distributed generation platform in Mexico.
The directory noted Alexander's work on project finance, power, renewables, LNG and M&A and said he has recently represented BNPP, Credit Agricole, and Nomura as lenders to a gas-fired power plant and HSBC/CIBC as lenders to a solar plant. The publication also took into account that Alexander hosts one of the leading energy podcasts, Norton Rose Fulbright's "Currents."
Of Crouch, The Legal 500 highlighted that she represents developers, investors and lenders involved in energy and infrastructure projects, including solar, wind, LNG, desalination and mining projects. She recently represented IFC and Bancomext in connection with the financing of a 296 MWp solar project in Jalisco, the first financing of a merchant solar project in Mexico.
