Laura Hodgson is a Knowledge Director in our London office. She leads the Advisory pillar for the Knowledge team.

Laura also has responsibility for knowledge within the firm's corporate and disputes insurance teams. Her primary responsibility is to keep track of regulatory developments and update fee earners and clients on developments in insurance law and regulation. Laura is also responsible for training in the insurance team.

With over 10 years' experience in insurance, she has written widely about insurance regulation, and is currently the regulatory editor of Colinvaux's Law of insurance.

Laura works for a variety of insurance and reinsurance clients on regulatory issues (including advice on authorization, application of UK and EU requirements) and the application of contract law on policy drafting. She has a particular focus on conduct regulation as well as the impact of climate change on the insurance industry.
