Biography
Mateusz Czuba is an energy and infrastructure projects lawyer based in Warsaw.
He focuses his practice on energy, project finance and infrastructure development.
Mateusz advises clients mainly from the energy and infrastructure sectors, in particular on issues related to renewables, focusing on legal due diligence, project documents, PPA arrangements and M&A transactions.
He has advised in numerous large projects relating to the renewable projects in Poland (PVs, onshore and offshore wind farms) and has experience in drafting and negotiating project documents in the energy and infrastructure sector (such as joint development agreements, PPAs, EPC contracts, balance of plant contracts, Development Services Agreements, etc.). Mateusz is also involved in various M&A transactions concerning renewables and has experience in drafting and negotiating documents such as Share Purchase Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Asset Purchase Agreement and other supporting M&A documents.
Mateusz is an advocate and a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at University of Łódz.
In 2024 Mateusz completed Postgraduate Merges and Acquisition Studies at Warsaw School of Economics (Szkoła Główna Handlowa).

Advised Bank Millennium S.A. on the refinancing of the construction phase of a portfolio of PV projects developed by SPVs sponsored by PAD RES B.V. (a joint venture between Griffin Capital Partners and Kajima Europe) with total capacity of 60,45 MW.
Advised PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna on the €3 billion financing of the PGE part of the construction of the 1.5 GW Baltica 2 offshore wind farm located off the Polish coast in the Baltic Sea between Ustka and Choczewo.
Advised PKO Bank Polski on financing construction of 40 MWp PV portfolio comprising 43 projects managed by SUNfarming.
