Norton Rose Fulbright advises Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego on financing construction of Kazimierz Biskupi wind farm for ZE PAK

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego on financing construction of 17.5 MW Kazimierz Biskupi wind farm in Poland for ZE PAK.

The Warsaw team was led by counsel and head of energy practice Tomasz Rogalski and included associates Igor Kondratowicz, Przemysław Piasecki and Michał Rutkowski, paralegal Mateusz Głaz. The due diligence team comprised Tomasz Rogalski, senior associate Cezary Zawiślak, associates Paula Stępień and Mateusz Czuba, paralegal Martyna Korzeniewska, lawyer Bartosz Odziemkowski. The team worked under the supervision of partner Grzegorz Dyczkowski who heads the Warsaw office and the firm’s Warsaw banking and finance practice. 

ZE PAK SA was established as a result of the transformation of the state enterprise Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin, based in Konin, into a company wholly owned by the State Treasury under the name Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin Spółka Akcyjna. Its core business is primarily the generation and sale of electricity and the production and distribution of heat. The company generates energy from conventional sources and by burning and co-firing biomass. The ZE PAK Group's generating assets include four lignite-fired power plants.
