Claudia Déry



Claudia Déry’s practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, and she regularly represents clients before the Quebec trial and appeal courts. She has particular experience in construction law and is co‑chair of our Canadian construction, engineering and infrastructure team. Ms. Déry has advised a number of clients in litigation relating to calls for tenders. She also has experience in drafting tender documents and construction contracts. She is frequently invited to make presentations and conduct training sessions on construction law topics and conducts the annual review of construction case law for the Canadian Bar Association. Ms. Déry also teaches construction law to students in the master’s program at the University of Montreal.

She is one of the co-authors of a comprehensive textbook on construction law entitled: La construction au Québec : perspectives juridiques, published by Wilson & Lafleur ltée in 1998.
