Nicholas is a shipping finance lawyer based in London.

Nicholas has experience in a wide range of international shipping transactions, including financings, debt restructurings and loan portfolio transfers, representing banks, investment companies and shipowners. In addition to his experience in the financing of a broad range of new-build and second-hand vessels, Nicholas has advised on a number of major debt restructurings in both the shipping and offshore sectors and works closely with the firm's restructuring and insolvency practice.

He also has experience advising on commercial shipping matters, including long-term charters, sale and purchase and shipbuilding contracts.

Nicholas has previously worked in the trade finance department of a large global bank in London and at a number of other major international law firms.
