Biography

Jan Wszołek PhD is a lawyer based in Warsaw.

Jan specializes mainly in real estate, spatial planning, land development and construction law. He has conducted over 150 legal due diligence reviews of real estate and participated in many real estate purchase transactions. He also advises on construction issues - construction contracts, EPCM, as well as on various administrative issues related to investment process preparation, construction and use of facilities. He also represents clients in court and administrative proceedings relating to real estate (including legal status determination) and the construction process. He also advises on real estate aspects of infrastructural projects, in particular in the renewable energy sector.

Jan is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. He also completed a Ph.D. programme at the Jagiellonian University's Department of Civil Law. His doctoral thesis concerned property development contracts. Jan completed postgraduate courses and earned professional qualifications in real estate agency and management from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, as well as completed a postgraduate managerial course for property developers organized by the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.

He has authored a number of publications in the field of civil and administrative law concerning real estate issues (construction and planning matters, leases, property development contracts). He conducts training for the Polish Federation of Property Valuers Associations. Jan is a member of the Krakow Bar Association.
