Norton Rose Fulbright advises on spin-off and Hong Kong listing of CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd.

Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce that our Hong Kong office has advised the sole sponsor and the joint global coordinators on the spin-off and HK$1.69 billion H-share listing of CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co. Ltd. on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Haitong International Capital Limited was the sole sponsor. Haitong International Securities Company Limited, ICBC International Capital Limited and Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited were the joint global coordinators on the transaction.

CIMC Vehicles is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of semi-trailers and truck bodies for specialty vehicles. It markets and sells an extensive range of semi-trailers and truck bodies in regions including Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. CIMC Vehicles is a subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd., a diversified multinational industrial group that primarily supplies logistics and energy equipment.

The deal was led by Psyche Tai and Harold Tin who were assisted by Aldo Chan and Virginia Lee in our Hong Kong office.
