Norton Rose Fulbright advises Shell on the acquisition of Solar Konzept Italia

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Shell Gas and Power Developments B.V. (Shell) on its acquisition of 100% of Solar Konzept Italia S.r.l. (SKI) from Solar-Konzept International GmgH, whose majority shareholding is held by Aquila Capital.

The firm advised Shell on the legal due diligence phase as well as in the drafting and signing of all agreements relating to the acquisition.

SKI is a company active in the design and construction of photovoltaic plants. It has a pipeline of 25 projects under development in Italy (total capacity of approximately 747 MWp).

Shell is an international energy company with expertise in the exploration, production, refining and marketing of oil and natural gas, and the manufacturing and marketing of chemicals.

Following this acquisition, which supports Shell’s objective to supply customers around the world with power from renewable energy sources, Shell’s solar development pipeline in Italy will reach nearly 2 GWp.
