Set to take effect from June 2021, the Investment Firms Regulation (IFR) and Investment Firms Directive (IFD) will make significant alterations to the prudential framework governing investment firms, resulting in higher regulatory capital requirements, new remuneration rules, and increased internal governance, disclosure and reporting requirements.
Our IFR/IFD transition hub helps financial services clients navigate the legal and regulatory implications of the new prudential regime. The hub includes our latest views and analysis on regulatory issues, as well as access to our legislation tracker and legislation mapping tools.
The IFR/IFD transition hub can be found on the NRF Institute here.
