Global consumer product safety authorities continue to work together to keep up with global consumer product companies, with the result that a report of a product safety issue in one country can trigger a duty to investigate in other countries. North America is perhaps the best example of this inter-agency cooperation, as we see the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Health Canada and Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO) frequently working together.
