San Antonio lawyer elected to ACREL fellowship

United States Press release - People May 3, 2019

The American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) has elected Katherine A. Tapley (San Antonio) to fellowship. Our firm has a long-standing tradition of leadership within ACREL including Jane Snoddy Smith (Austin), Robert G. Converse (Austin) and John S. Hollyfield (Houston).

ACREL is the premier organization of US real estate lawyers. Admission is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process. ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers have been elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

Katherine focuses her practice on complex commercial real estate transactions, with a specific emphasis on the development and financing of multi-family projects, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues and other commercial real estate across multiple jurisdictions. She serves as the Chair of the Board of Governors of SA Youth, a San Antonio area non-profit providing out-of-school time programming and drop-out recovery services.

In addition, Katherine is currently serving as the Course Director for the State Bar of Texas's 2019 Advanced Real Estate Strategies CLE course and as a Steering Committee member for the State Bar of Texas's 2019 Advanced Real Estate Law CLE course.
