United States Press release - People April 1, 2020

The Houston Young Lawyers Association (HYLA) has honored Jessica Rodriguez (Houston) by recently naming her the recipient of HYLA's 2020 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.

HYLA judged nominees, who must be less than 36-years-old and in practice no more than five years, based on their professional proficiency, service to the profession, commitment to community service and dedication to legal ethics.

Rodriguez, a senior associate in the energy transactions group, has worked on liquefied natural gas (LNG) export projects from the regulatory and commercial sides, pipeline transportation agreements, and mergers and acquisitions related to oil and gas properties and energy companies. DeBakey VA Medical Center as well as placing attorneys with cases the firm has received from Houston Volunteer Lawyers.

She also takes on pro bono cases herself, often representing Spanish-speaking clients.
