Norton Rose Fulbright strengthens global restructuring and insolvency practice with new partner hire

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of Omar Salah as partner, joining the firm’s Amsterdam and London offices from De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Omar’s arrival will substantially consolidate the offerings of the firm’s dedicated restructuring and insolvency practice as well as strengthen its wider banking team.

Omar has extensive experience in financial restructurings, insolvency proceedings, distressed M&A, trading in non-performing loans and bank and bond debt restructurings. As a recognised lawyer in this area, Omar has been involved in some of the most complex cross-border restructurings and insolvencies globally. 

His practice also focuses on banking and finance matters, including leveraged and acquisition financings, real estate financings, Islamic finance and investment grade corporate loans.
