San Antonio lawyer wins San Antonio Business Journal Outstanding Lawyer Award

The San Antonio Business Journal has honored Katherine Tapley (San Antonio) by naming her a winner of a 2019 Outstanding Lawyer Award. An accomplished real estate lawyer, Tapley is one of just 13 San Antonio-area lawyers to be recognized.
The awards are given to lawyers based on their professional accomplishments, impact on the legal industry (locally, statewide and nationwide), leadership within their organizations and impact on the community.
Tapley focuses on all aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions, with a specific emphasis on the development and financing of multi-family projects, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues and other commercial real estate across multiple jurisdictions. She has extensive experience representing developers and lenders in a broad range of real estate financing matters.
Tapley serves as the Chair of the Board of Governors for SA Youth, a non-profit providing out-of-school time programming and drop-out recovery services for high-risk youth and young adults in the San Antonio area. In addition, she is currently serving as the Course Director for the State Bar of Texas's Advanced Real Estate Strategies CLE course.
She and other winners will be recognized in the San Antonio Business Journal and at an evening event in San Antonio October 4.
