United States Press release - Firm July 2022

The International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR) named Houston partner Denton Nichols a 2022 Rising Star during its annual meeting. The CPR Rising Stars are the next generation of leadership in the Alternative Dispute Resolution community. They are selected for recognition based on their legal representation, dispute management skills and overall efforts to improve the profession. In support of Denton's Rising Star nomination, a client commended his "remarkable attention to detail" and "the ability to master the facts and meld them into cohesive, winning themes."

Focusing on complex and high-value disputes, Denton regularly handles international arbitrations, investor-state disputes and international litigation in US courts. He represents clients in disputes arising from purchase and sale agreements, energy contracts, joint operating agreements, sales of goods and investment agreements. Being a Spanish and Portuguese speaker, Denton devotes a significant percentage of his practice to Latin America.

CPR's mission includes promoting global best practices in dispute prevention and resolution through the thought leadership of its diverse membership of top companies, law firms, lawyers, academics and leading mediators and arbitrators around the world. Its committees study best practices and host global and regional meetings to share innovative tools and resources.
