Reuters: Antitrust charges against ex-Pilgrim’s Pride executives dismissed

At the DOJ's request, US District Judge Daniel Domenico dismissed the indictment against Jason McGuire, a former executive vice president of sales at Pilgrim's Pride, and Timothy Stiller, a former general manager, who were among other chicken industry leaders charged last year in a sweeping price-fixing prosecution.
Carsten Reichel, a former federal prosecutor with the DOJ who has followed the case, spoke with Reuters regarding the unexpected ruling.
