Biography
Dervis Magistre is a senior counsel in Norton Rose Fulbright's New York Office, specializing in patent prosecution, counseling clients on patent strategy, and post-grant proceedings at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Dervis has extensive experience in managing the patent portfolios of renowned technology companies in the United States, Europe, and Asia. A significant part of his practice involves providing clients with opinions on the non-infringement and validity of patents, including performing patent portfolio reviews.
Dervis also is experienced in representing clients in post-grant proceedings before the USPTO.
Over the course of his career, which began as a patent examiner at the USPTO, Dervis has acquired experience in a wide variety of technologies, including microelectronics, software, telecommunications systems, semiconductors, and medical devices.
