Javeria Kazmi

Biography

Javeria Kazmi is a patent attorney in Norton Rose Fulbright’s Dallas office, with a focus on preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to wireless communications and telecommunication standards. She also prosecutes patent applications related to a variety of other technologies including field programmable gate arrays, radio frequency front-end, office suite applications, displays, augmented reality and virtual reality headsets, computing networks, power control systems, memory devices, banking, amusement parks and user interface experiences. In addition to patent prosecution, Javeria has prepared and prosecuted trademark applications. She has also prepared claim charts in anticipation of litigation or for targeted continuation applications.

Prior to attending law school, Javeria worked as an electrical engineer in the product development hardware group for a defense aerospace company. She uses her engineering experience to counsel clients on industry standards and patents, as well as to provide practical strategies for intellectual property portfolio management.
