Biography

Nathan Baum is a senior associate in the disputes group and joined Norton Rose Fulbright in 2012.

Nathan concentrates his practice on complex business litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust, employment, oil and gas, and commercial disputes. Nathan has extensive experience successfully representing companies in federal and state litigation, employment disputes, antitrust litigation, and contract disputes.

Nathan has significant trial and arbitration experience, including a recent arbitration victory for an oil and gas client in which the arbitrator awarded a complete victory including an award of attorneys' fees and costs.

Nathan also has particular success in achieving pre-trial dismissals of matters. Nathan defended a national hospital company in a hotly contested breach of contract case. Nathan and his colleagues were successful in securing summary judgment and ultimate dismissal of the case.

Nathan and his colleagues obtained another summary judgment award in federal court on behalf of a long-standing firm client, a petroleum, natural gas, and natural gas liquids exploration and production company.

Nathan has also successfully represented large national companies in significant employment litigation victories, including matters involving trade secret misappropriation, non-compete agreements, and wrongful termination issues.

Based on his litigation successes, Nathan has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters and was honored as an "Outstanding Lawyer Under 40" by the Cardozo Society of the Jewish Federation.
