Norton Rose Fulbright advises CHAPTERS Group on merger of its subsidiary Fintiba with Expatrio

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised CHAPTERS Group AG on the merger of its subsidiary Fintiba GmbH with Expatrio Global Services GmbH. The transaction is expected to be completed in May 2025, subject to customary contractual closing conditions.

By merging Fintiba and Expatrio, the CHAPTERS Group is expanding its Financial Technologies segment and enabling increased investment in products for foreign students and professionals in Germany. Following the transaction, the newly created Financial Technologies segment will generate pro-forma revenue of EUR 42 million in 2024 - more than twice as much as before.

The companies that will be part of the newly created Financial Technologies segment are both active in the field of financial services for foreign students and professionals in Germany. Blocked accounts, which serve as financial proof in the visa process, and health insurance for stays in Germany form the central components of the offering. In December 2024, Fintiba acquired the provider Coracle and is bringing it into the new group.
