Canada Press release - Recognition June 2019

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright’s Canadian director of knowledge management, Sukesh Kamra, was recognized as a Change Agent in Law at the 2019 Lexpert Zenith Awards. Each year, the national legal publication acknowledges those who have made remarkable contributions to their profession, community and society through these awards.

Kamra was instrumental in co-developing career development and competency frameworks for the firm’s knowledge management professionals globally.

Kamra has transformed the traditional knowledge management function, with progressive legal technology and investment in digital knowledge exchange and collaboration platforms. He leads a team of knowledge management and library professionals, focusing their efforts on unique skill sets like coding, solutions development, sales and customer engagement. He also leads a team of legal technologists who consult and advise directly with clients, addressing their business and operational needs.

The 2019 Lexpert Zenith Awards: Celebrating Change Agents in Law recognize change leaders who are focused on client relationships, diversity and inclusion, technology, accessibility to legal services, or redefining what it means to practise law. Winners were selected from law firms, corporate legal and government departments, academia and those with alternative legal careers.

This is the seventh of various awards Kamra has received recognizing his innovation at Norton Rose Fulbright in advancing knowledge management and innovative legal technology.
