Houston lawyer receives Best in Energy, Natural Resources & Mining award

The Euromoney Legal Media Group recently honored Julie Mayo (Houston) by awarding her the Best in Energy, Natural Resources and Mining Award, one of the group's Americas Women in Business Law awards.
The individual practice area awards recognize the best female lawyer in each practice area.
Mayo, leader of Norton Rose Fulbright's US oil and gas practice, was one of nine finalists in the energy, natural resources and mining category.
She focuses her practice on oil, natural gas and electric power projects, with a particular strength in natural gas and LNG, and represents clients on all aspects of project development and mergers and acquisitions.
She has been listed for her work in energy and natural resources in a number of publications, including Chambers, The Legal 500 and Expert Guides.
A thought leader in her practice area, Mayo has spoken on energy and project structures at a number of conferences and summits.
