US lawyer named a diversity and inclusion honoree by the San Antonio Business Journal

Real estate partner Katherine Tapley (San Antonio) is being recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal for her efforts to bolster diversity and equality. Tapley has been named one of five diversity and inclusion honorees (in the individuals category) by the publication.

The awards are given to a total of 10 individuals, businesses, non-profits and other organizations that have excelled in efforts to bolster equality across all areas of diversity, including age, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion and socio-economic status.

Award recipients will be will be recognized at a cocktail event October 6.

Tapley serves as the US chief of diversity and inclusion of the firm. She works closely with the US Management Committee to strengthen the firm's diversity and inclusion efforts and ensure that the firm's lawyers, personnel and clients are treated with dignity and respect. Previously, Tapley chaired the firm's Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) Network.

Tapley has been a partner at the firm since 2017, with a practice focused on commercial real estate and financing transactions. Her practice has a specific emphasis on the development and financing of multi-family projects, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues and other commercial real estate across multiple jurisdictions. She has extensive experience representing developers and lenders in a broad range of real estate financing matters.
