Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa announces the appointment of Cameron Wilson as a Director in its Employment and Labour team. Cameron will be based in the firm’s Durban office.
Cameron is an accomplished employment law practitioner with over a decade of experience advising on complex industrial relations and labour matters. He joins the firm from Shepstone & Wylie, where he was a Partner.
Cameron’s work spans large-scale retrenchments, strike management, organisational restructures, and litigation before the Labour Court, Bargaining Councils and the CCMA. His practice is distinguished by its strategic, business-driven approach—offering clients holistic support that extends from workforce policy design to and managing high-risk disciplinary enquiries.
He regularly trains senior executives and state officials on labour compliance, strike planning, and wage negotiations, and advises multinationals on employment issues related to foreign workers and regulatory obligations.
“Cameron’s appointment strengthens our national capability in employment and labour law. His strategic insight and hands-on experience with complex workforce dynamics make him a valuable addition to the team and a trusted partner to our clients”, says Brent Botha, CEO at Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa.
Cameron holds LLB and LLM degrees from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and the University of Cape Town respectively, and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2016.
