Houston lawyer named in LACCA Approved guide for 2022

Mark Baker (Houston) has been recognized for his work in international arbitration by the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA).

Baker was named to the LACCA Approved 2022 guide based on personal recommendations by the leading general counsel in Latin America.

Lawyers are selected after a thorough research process and are then ranked based on the number of nominations received and the prominence of the clients nominating them.

Baker, global co-head of international arbitration for Norton Rose Fulbright, also serves as a member of the firm’s global supervisory board and a member of the litigation and disputes team. He practices in complex commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, business litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). 

His extensive experience in international and domestic arbitration includes acting as both counsel and as arbitrator under all the major arbitral rules as well as ad hoc disputes under UNCITRAL rules. Baker's clients include global financial institutions, major corporations, governments and state-owned entities from all industry sectors, including energy (oil and gas, power and renewables), infrastructure, mining and commodities, transport, banking and finance and technology and innovation.
