Biography

Brandy Nolan, Senior Counsel in the Dallas office, focuses on patent disputes and other intellectual property matters.  Her experience includes patent and trade secret litigation, patent prosecution, validity and infringement risk assessments, and patent licensing.  Additional experience comes from her former work as a chemical engineer, which encompassed non-woven process and product development.

Brandy served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and as a Legal Research & Legal Writing Teaching Quizmaster while at the University of Texas. She was a Thad T. Hutcheson Moot Court 2007 Semi-Finalist and 2009 Student Director and Susman Godfrey Moot Court 2008 Quarter-Finalist. Also during law school, Brandy was a part of the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society and a member of the Board of Advocates. She received honors as a member of the President's and Dean's Honor Rolls at the University of Oklahoma, where she was also a member of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society and National Society of Black Engineers.
