Biography

Noah Pollak is a partner in the Projects group focusing on the financing and development of renewable and conventional power projects.  Noah represents global banks, private equity funds and sponsors on complex financings of, and investments in, renewable energy projects (solar and wind; utility-scale, residential and C&I), conventional power projects (generation and transportation) and energy transition and energy adjacent initiatives (energy savings and data centers).  These financings and investments include construction and term financings, tax equity investments, cash equity investments and joint ventures.  Noah also represents sponsors on the development of these projects and platforms.

  • Represented Deutsche Bank, National Bank of Canada, Banco de Sabadell, Comerica Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo and MetLife in the $392 million financing of the 400 MW Mammoth North project under construction in PJM by Doral Renewables LLC.  The facility consisted of a $157 million construction-to-term loan facility, a $170 million tax equity bridge loan, and a $65 million letter of credit facility.  Tax equity is being provided by Bank of America.
  • Represented Compute North in a $300 loan facility from Generate Capital for the development of large-scale computing infrastructure under development in Texas, Nebraska and North Carolina and Texas.
  • Represented the Lenders in the nearly $300 million construction financing and equity bridge financing of a 260 MW solar project in ERCOT.
  • Represented the Lenders in a $250 million revolving development loan facility and mezzanine term loan facility to a utility-scale solar developer.
  • Represented lender groups including KeyBank, ING, Truist, Investec and NY Green Bank more than $700 million of back-leverage financings for the construction and acquisition of residential solar projects, each of which secured by interests in tax equity partnerships.
  • Represented the Lenders in a $130 million revolving loan facility for the acquisition and safe harboring of solar panels for deployment in its residential solar business.
  • Represented a developer in a joint venture for the development of infrastructure assets.
  • Represented the Lenders in the $650 million financing of a gas-fired power project in ISO-NE.
