Biography

Peter Felfe's practice is in intellectual property matters, patent infringement litigation, IP arbitration, licensing, client counseling in IP policy matters and opinions.

Peter joined as a partner in 1998, following the merger of Felfe & Lynch, of which he was a founding partner.  His activities have included setting up and developing in-house patent programs and developing corporate patent, and other IP strategies and interfacing IP programs with related corporate activities, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and licensing and enforcement programs.  Peter's intellectual property practice focuses on patent law, including  patent infringement litigation and arbitration, licensing and opinions.  He has extensive experience in cases involving chemical engineering, classical chemistry, polymers, pharmaceutical chemistry and biotechnology with emphasis on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biotechnology.

Peter is licensed to practice law in New York and other jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court (1985), the Court of Appeals of the Federal Circuit (1983), the Southern and Eastern districts of New York and many other district courts, as well as the U.S. Patent and Trademark office and the International Trade Commission.
