Biography
Chris Randall is a corporate lawyer based in London. He specialises in international equity offerings, public and private company mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general public company advice.
Chris recently advised Delta Air Lines, Inc. in relation to the proposed US$360 million acquisition of a 49 per cent stake in Virgin Atlantic from Singapore Airlines and also advised a consortium of investors on the acquisition of a portfolio of 12 UK private hospitals from Spire Healthcare Group, the second largest private hospital provider in the UK.
Other high profile acquisitions which Chris has advised on include F&C’s acquisition of Thames River Capital group, Adecco’s takeover of Spring Group, easyJet’s acquisition of GB Airways, G4S’s acquisition of Armorgroup and was part of the team advising on the consortium bid by Carlsberg and Heineken for Scottish and Newcastle. Chris’ ECM experience includes advising on the HSBC £12.5 billion rights issues as well as several main market and AIM IPOs.
Chris is also qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong having previously spent a number of years there working on many high profile corporate transactions. He is also a member of the CBI Companies Committee. Chris graduated from Durham University in 1992 and qualified as a solicitor in 1997.
