Dr. Maren Stölting is a corporate lawyer based in Munich. She has particular experience in the field of commercial property law. She has a broad range of experience in cross-border M&A transactions as well as corporate restructurings/reorganisations. Besides to domestic and foreign investors, real estate funds and insurers, she regularly provides legal counselling to German and international companies in the course of M&A and real estate transactions.
Maren focuses on projects and transactions in the real estate sector providing advice on the subject of "property" to domestic and foreign clients, in particular to issues regarding property and asset management, project development as well as commercial letting/lease law.
In this context, she advised American Realty Capital Global Trust on the purchase and lease of the RWE headquarters, Fattal Hotels Ltd on the construction and purchase of their three-star Leonardo and Leonardo Royal Hotels, a Swiss Pension Fund on the acquisition, closing, asset management and letting of a real estate portfolio consisting of 27 separate properties, a project developer during the acquisition process of a former industrial area including the planning and implementation of future residential, office and retail buildings as well as a medium-sized company during the complete restructuring process of the company's assets.
Prior to her legal studies, she completed a trainee programme at the Bayerische Vereinsbank AG in Munich. She is a graduate of the University of Munich (doctor juris). Maren is also qualified as a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law. Maren is a German native speaker and is fluent in English.
