Biography
Chris Grieves is a corporate lawyer based in London. He specialises in joint ventures, public and private M&A, with a particular emphasis on cross-border and emerging markets M&A, and equity offerings, in the energy, infrastructure, mining and industrials sectors.
Chris worked for a number of years in Asia before returning to London in 2007. During his time in Asia he worked extensively on M&A transactions for clients in the telecoms, financial and energy sectors as well as a large number of international equity offerings acting for investment banks and issuers.
Recent transactions have included acting for BP on its Brazilian biofuels joint venture with US agri-commodities company Bunge, institutional investors advised by J.P.Morgan Asset Management on the acquisition of a 1GW pan-European windfarm portfolio, Coca-Cola HBC on its acquistion of Serbian confectionary company, Bambi, Nustar Energy on the sale of its European bulk liquid storage business and Sandvik AB on the disposal of its global mining systems business.
