Anna is a corporate finance lawyer based in Singapore where she heads the firm's Asia insurance practice.

Anna has practiced in the insurance sector since 1994 and, before moving to Singapore in 2010, had over 12 years' experience in the London corporate insurance market. Anna has extensive experience in corporate matters for insurance companies with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, bancassurance, and corporate restructuring.

Her additional areas of focus include regulatory capital, structured and alternative risk transfer products and advice on specialist policies, including credit default and political risk, directors & officers liability and warranty & indemnity insurance.

Notable transactions on which Anna has recently worked include advising Hyperion on the acquisition of a majority stake of IPG Asia and associated joint venture agreement, advising Zurich Insurance on the sale of its Singapore life insurance business, effected by court approved scheme of transfer, advising Fairfax on the sale of First Capital Insurance to MSIG, advising Allianz on its Indonesian joint venture with the Salim Group for the distribution of a variety of financial services products and advising XL Catlin on its acquisition of a 20% stake in an Indian insurance broker. Anna also advises a significant number of international banking groups on the use of guarantees and credit default insurance for eligible capital relief and advises a variety of financial institutions on their regulatory obligations in the Singapore and wider Asian markets.
